Nicole & Kyle had both their ceremony and reception at The Marquee (Gershon Fox Room) in Hartford CT. We provided the lighting in the ballroom as well as on the white drapery behind the ceremony in the atrium. Sound support for the ceremony (microphones & music) as well as DJ & Photo Booth were through us.
It just makes it so much easier for our clients to utilize all our services. There is only one contact for all your services. It also makes it easier on us as I have control over my staff so I can send Pat to pick up lights in the atrium while Jesse is starting the cocktail music upstairs and then they reconvene to setup the photo booth and manage the behind the scenes details as I concentrate on DJing.
It was a beautiful ceremony in the atrium and then guests headed upstairs to the Mezzanine for cocktails. The ballroom glowed with our amber up-lighting as guests entered for dinner.
Dancing started off with a bang and it was looking to be a great party but unfortunately, a medical emergency caused an unexpected wrinkle in the activities. It seems their 92 year old grandfather collapsed in the bathroom (heart failure?) – luckily staff reacted quickly calling 911 and a nurse (guest) was able to revive him, but the party ended on a sad note as he was taken off in ambulance to the hospital.
